• Seamaster Issue

  Hi,I currently own a 2220.80 seamaster, it is about 2.7 years old and I noticed this morning that it was dead. I wore it all day yesterday and typically that charges it more than enough to stay running overnight. I unscrewed the crown to the wind position and gave 30-40 turns. Normally this is more than enough to get it going however it would move for a second or 2 then stops. More winds resulted ........

  Hello,Vintage Hamilton newbie here and loving every minute of it. I have recently procured the pictured Boulton and have a question with regards to the type of sub-second dial. You will note that the sub dial is of a rectangular design with every 10 seconds marked and is not sunk. The hand also extends backwards a little bit. • What to do with the Fake Ladies omega ? ? ? ? ?

  I opened up the mail today after returning from vacation, I was excited that my nice antique Illinois GF cushion case arrived! It was in a job lot that I bought on "the bay" and this fake ladies omega was included in the lot. This is one of the better fakes that I have seen (as far as fakes go). The date lens is way too magnified, it's quartz, the gold chrome plating is flaking badly, second hand ........
